Heyy everybody, my name is Rose. How about yours?

"Someone tell me, when is it my turn? Don't I get a dream for myself?"
Audra McDonald, the extraordinary actress and singer, appeared on Sunday's Tony Awards, which aired on CBS. I was eagerly anticipating the performance by the cast of the Broadway play, Hamilton. But then, as if guided by fate, Audra McDonald appeared on my small flat screen television, dressed down in a quaint, navy-blue dress and bedazzled red jacket. Oh I just know that I'm definitely in for a treat.

Commanding the stage is in her nature. The emotional depth she delivers in this stunning performance amazed this thirty-year-old. Oh my god, I can do acting too, it's a wild and crazy dream, but I know one day it could come true. And her voice, transforming into the angelic sound of Rose, was mesmerizing.
A few days later, I wasn't sure if she received a Tony for her outstanding performance as Rose. I was heartbroken to learn she didn't. The shock on my face was unforgettable. Audra McDonald gave her all on that stage and Broadway—every scream, every note, all her passion and drive were poured into that performance. That's what defines an artist. To me, it was a masterpiece.
To Audra, thank you for pouring your heart and soul into every performance and character you bring to life. You inspire me to pursue my acting and Broadway dreams. Even though you didn't win a Tony that night, you shine like a star every day. You shine darling. Bright as the sun. You wear that golden crown every day when you walk out the door, step on stage or even just being yourself.
